Volunteer Task: Organize food from food drives/donations

• This food is organized into large boxes that go to our community partners to be distributed to families in need at no cost

Tasks include:

• Vetting donated non-perishable food items for expiration dates and making sure they are safe to consume 
• Marking bar codes
• Organizing food into boxes
• Placing boxes on pallets
• Making boxes

This helps feed 200,000 people a month!
All volunteer groups include a tour of Operation Food Search's facility. 
Important information: 

• OFS is under construction and volunteering will take place in a warehouse setting with limited climate control. (No air conditioning)  
• With the construction there is limited parking. Please carpool is possible. 
• Wear close toed shoes, no sandals are allowed for safety concerns.
• You will be in a warehouse setting, please wear casual clothes that can get dirty.
• Feel free to bring water bottles, we have a fountain that you can refill them at.
