SLAHA Scholarship Program
Introduction
SLAHA is committed to the education of the hospitality industries current and future employees. By providing mentoring opportunities and scholarships at area universities, SLAHA continues to help improve the skills and training for future employees of the hospitality industry. The Association awards scholarships to students (including, but not limited to, current hotel employees and allied members) interested in pursuing careers in the hospitality industry.
SLAHA has partnered with area schools to provide scholarships to students studying within the hospitality field. Currently, the association is providing ten $2500.00 scholarships to individuals attending eight schools including McKendree University, Lindenwood University, University of Phoenix, St. Louis University, L’Ecole Culinare, University of Central Missouri State, St. Louis Community College/Forest Park and University of Missouri.
Applications will be available March 1, 2011
Applications will be accepted until April 29, 2011
Scholarships are awarded on May16, 2011
